Accessing Teacher Tools from Home
This link will take you to the site where you can access your email and cloud files. Remember to use your email address and your Office 365 password (the password you use to log into Office 365 email, etc.).
Outlook Configuration
Group senders - If you only expect response information to be of used by you, try the BCC feature (https://support.office.com/en-us/article/show-hide-and-view-the-blind-carbon-copy-bcc-field-04304e27-63a2-4276-8884-5077fba0e229). You can send the information to everyone, but if they REPLY ALL, it will only come back to you as they do not have the other recipients on their list.
Reply All Default - The default for the browser version of Outlook is Reply All. You manually change that by using the arrow just to the right of Reply All and select Reply. It might be useful to have everyone change the default:
To do this, while in your browser Outlook, select your gear symbol on the top right.
Select View all Outlook settings at the bottom.
Type Reply in the search bar and select Reply or Reply All that pops-up.
Change your default to Reply and select Save.
Conversation Messages - With conversation on, messages are grouped together if they are part of an ongoing conversation. It may be more useful to continue to see messages as separate emails. To turn conversation off:
Go to the settings gear in the upper right of your browser Outlook.
Select View all Outlook settings at the bottom.
Search for Message Organization. Change this to Show email as individual messages.
Zoom
To use Zoom Video Meeting, you MUST have another MIS faculty or staff member on the meeting and you must record the entire meeting.
