Gardening Club (Grades 7-8)

Gardening at MIS is a teacher run club for grades 7 and 8. Students in gardening enjoy planting different fruits, vegetables, and herbs with each changing season. The work begins with clearing out the three raised-bed gardens and culminates with delicious additions to the dinner table!

Junior Catholic Daughters* (Grades 1-8)

Junior Catholic Daughters is for girls aged 6-18 who would like to learn more about their faith and be involved in service projects. Junior Catholic Daughters promote and encourage:

  • development of the whole person through programs of self-identity, personal growth and peer group relationships;

  • service to others in the parish community and JCDA;

  • spiritual growth through opportunities for personal prayer, liturgy and ecumenical understanding

  • programming that is open, flexible and creative to current needs and concerns.

Girls in grades K-8 learn life skills through badge work, community service projects, and activity patches. We have girls enrolled at every level. Please email Bri Hernandez for more information.
