MIS eLearning Model

MIS will use two learning models for the 2020-21 year: eLearning and In-Person. Parents will be able to choose the learning model they prefer on a quarterly basis. Parents may change their model of choice about two weeks prior to each new quarter.

• Students in K-4th grade will use Seesaw, which is also available on student links.

• Students in 5th-8th will use Microsoft Teams, which is available on student links.

• Videoconferencing for all students (K-8th) will be done through Microsoft Teams. All students have free accounts to use this platform. Just click here to access student links.

guidelines for eLearning

• Each student should have access to his/her own device. K-4 can use electronic devices such as iPad or laptops. Students in 5-8 will need a laptop.

• Participation will be synchronous and asynchronous. Students are expected to follow class schedules and be present when scheduled.

• Assignments will be due at the appointed times.

• Students will participate in all curriculum offerings.
