Training for Catechists
Mary Immaculate School will host Sr. Anna Christi Solis, O.P., for trainings for Level 1 Part 1 in the summer of 2025. There are no prerequisites for this training.
Level 1 Part 1 Training will be held June 16-21, 2025. (9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
All sessions will be held on the Mary Immaculate School campus in Farmers Branch, TX.
Registration is available below. The entire cost for the course is $350. You may pay a $100 deposit to hold your place and pay the remaining balance by May 15.

What is Catechesis of the good shepherd?
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is an approach to the religious formation of children grounded in Sacred Scripture, Catholic Doctrine, Liturgy and Prayer. Themes are presented in such a way as to develop the religious potential present in every child: the capacity to love and be loved and be in a deep relationship with God.
CGS was developed by Dr. Sofia Cavalletti and Gianna Giobbi in Rome in 1954 and spread throughout the world. It is used in homes, parishes, and schools.
